While the country is going through rough times, the personnel and volunteers of ANIMA, the Association for the Protection and Welfare of Wildlife, work long hours to take care of hundreds of wild animals at the clinic and the rehabilitation center every day.
The animals are either orphans or injured/sick adults brought in or sent by people from all over Greece. After they have received all the necessary treatment, they are released back to nature in appropriate locations as advised by experts.
