Winner in Build (architecture) On sunny days, when the sun shines and a certain amount of wind blows, light is led into the space from the pipes in the ceiling, creating a phenomenon of light that looks like drops falling onto the surface of the water. The light constantly moves with the wind and falls to reveal new sights. This architectural space is a remarkable manifestation of the seasonal, daily, and time-of-day changes caused by the atmosphere, and the sights that can be experienced differ depending on the time of day when you visit. It is an accidental creation of nature, which we humans cannot manipulate.

Winner in Create (art) Graphite on Mylar drawing measuring 54" x 64" I create saddle portraits of historic western saddles. They are drawn with extreme attention paid to detail and are created at 100% scale. They look as if you could take them and put them on a horse and ride away.

Finalists in Use (product) In the early stages, children with autism have differences in social interaction, language, and social communication compared to typical children. Low-functioning individuals with autism show significantly poorer performance in both receiving and expressing language and may even have no verbal expression ability. To address communication and social interaction, modular products can be used to promote interpersonal communication training, helping children with autism who have deficiencies in verbal expression to develop their oral communication skills.

Finalists in Shoot (photo/video) I believe that many people take great comfort in food, which brings back memories of one’s life, especially childhood. Some food reminds you of comfort and happy times, whereas others create the opposite feelings. The challenge of this project was to see past everyday food and connect with your inner child. This photo demonstrates a minimalist approach to a distinct perspective utilizing macro photography, food, and miniature figures. My macro photography captures food in a fun and exciting manner, which, in turn, will put a smile on your face.

Finalists in Build (architecture) Embracing the harmony of natural ecology and urban life, the designer simulates the natural form of the wetland and takes “urban forest” as the theme, with ecology, vitality and pleasure as principles in this forest-style community park. Vegetation, light and shadow, deer, winding paths, and landscape installations give people sensory enjoyment. Parent-child interaction, fun play and daily social contact are integrated, and facilities like the deer house slide, runway and seesaw become the media linking nature, the community and the outside. Here, beautiful moments and feelings keep happening.

Winner in Use (product) FlexiDryer is an innovative appliance that combines hand drying, air drying and clothes drying. With its electric heating and fan devices and structural design, it offers a wide range of solutions for users in various situations. This appliance can be mounted on the wall as a hand dryer and can also be detached as a hair dryer. When there are wet clothes, you can hang them on the pole to dry. Built-in negative ion module and air filter effectively clean dirty air to improve air quality and create a fresh and pleasant environment.

Winner in Decorate (interior) Pignic is a breeder and directly manages a cafe. It provides a place where people can interact with micro pigs in a stress-free style and relax. Humans feel softness, warmth, healing and experience a peace of their mind and achieve a sense of fulfillment by interacting with the animals. Therefore, by expressing all corners with soft curves, we have designed a healing and relaxing space both for people and pigs. By plastering up all the walls and ceiling as well as applying coating and illustration from above, we have managed to create an interior where all corners are curved surfaces.

Finalists in Illustrate (graphic) The ancient Chinese divided the sun’s annual circular motion into 24 segments. Each segment was called a specific solar term and was used to guide agricultural affairs and farming activities. However, people today who don’t have access to nature might not grasp how changes in solar terms impact farming and crop growth. Oatysis, as an enterprise deeply engaged in grain food, presented 24 posters and other materials with Bright Woo Studio to promote the Chinese traditional solar term culture and lead people to pay more attention to agricultural production.

Winner in Decorate (interior) The brand design is based on the owner’s surname Wu and the three cats raised at home as the design concept. The right angle of the space is rounded, and repeated stacking is carried out to make the original single arc become a smooth surface, and finally extend to the shape of the space facade. From the customer’s point of view, the use of curves in the space weakens the sense of panic that the clinic brings to pets and humans.

Finalists in Create (art) The image is an allegory to dealing with chronic pain. It’s a condition that myself and many others deal with daily but often goes unnoticed. In order to be able to continue with everyday tasks and work a person with this kind of pain has to pretend that everything is fine to get through the day. Almost like a flower would in a garden.

Finalists in Use (product) For this project we were gifted an insightful look into a culture not previously explored. Romania’s brutalism, seen in architecture across the country, guided us in creating this introductory design for Romanian company Arbore. The Cannoli highlights the core wooden elements so often hidden behind upholstery and celebrates the materiality and form it could create. Cannoli challenges the look of traditional sofa construction by externally wrapping the cushioned elements in an exposed experimental bent oak structure, utilising the signature oak used by Arbore in a new and innovative way.

Finalists in Use (product) Court. Design idea: It is an Iranian instrument called “divan”. In addition to the efficiency of the chair, the beauty of the design has also been considered. This chair is very comfortable and can be used to relax in crowded environments. Inside, audio bands are used to play music. The body material is walnut wood. By confronting Bowie, an iconic figure, I deconstruct his image, delving into the depths of iconography. This isn’t merely a visual journey; it’s a cognitive exploration. Collage encourages reflection on the symbols, contrasts, and oppositions that underpin artistic creation. I constantly experiment with techniques and materials to unveil new layers, ultimately resulting in acrylic paintings.

Finalists in Decorate (interior) Concept room to reconsider the spatiality of the city center. Through a space of discontinuous silence located in the center of the urban bustle, the project explores the contradictions and multifaceted nature of the urban environment, while at the same time suggesting the possibility of restructuring and harmonizing the urban environment. Underlying the installation is the contrast between the hustle and bustle of the city and its silence, a contrast that illustrates the tensions and contradictions that city dwellers experience in their daily lives.

Finalists in Decorate (interior) Pullman Shenzhen North is located less than 200 meters from the Shenzhen North Railway Station. With the railway as the core element, the design responds to the local context and urban communities. From the ground lobby to the sky lobby, signal lights and sleeper-inspired artwork are artfully arranged. The guest room is highlighted by the curved ceiling and enveloping furniture. Local stone is used extensively… Since its opening, the hotel has quickly become the first choice of business travelers to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, gaining great popularity in the market.
