And recently the population in the house has increased – one of the author’s sons and his wife moved in with them, in order to save money for their family budget.
The woman says that she doesn’t mind cooking for numerous household members (this is not her first time doing this – after all, she’s used to living in a large family), but lately she has become tormented by the eating habits of both her son and DIL. The thing is that the spouses not only love to eat – they eat a lot and, more importantly, very quickly.
Moreover, more than once or twice it has happened that the mom cooked some kind of food – it didn’t matter, spaghetti or cake – went to work, and when she returned, she and her daughter discovered that the relatives had either eaten everything clean or left them very little. By the way, this situation also infuriated the daughter as well.
The OP tried to solve this problem by increasing the volume of food she cooked, but her son and daughter-in-law accepted this challenge and coped with it quite successfully.
